Five For Wednesday

Today’s Five for Wednesday is a real hodge podge. From old Microsoft product to new Microsoft products. From Android to iOS and from your living room, I present today’s Five for Wednesday:

  1. Wearables: one-third of consumers abandoning devices – Wow…I am surprised by this. I’m wondering if it has to do with design?
  2. Amazon Fire TV. – Play games and watch Prime video. 99 bucks.
  3. Office for iPad is Now Available – To edit documents, you need an Office365 account. I’d like a trial before I commit. It’s been getting some pretty rave reviews.
  4. Five Best Android Home Screen Replacements – This is a pretty great list. Some very cool apps here. Makes me wish I had an Android phone. 😉
  5. Windows XP: Old Platforms Die Hard, Security Risks Live On – Are you still running XP? If you are, read this article!

That’s it for today. If you haver anything you think we should post in our Five for Wednesday series, send it our way on Twitter with the hashtag #54W. Or you can email us or reach out on Facebook.

  1. Do you think the Fire TV will be worth it? I’m torn as I already have Amazon Prime for the video service. But ive also already got chromecast and apple tv. Not really sure what sets this apart , especially since I’m not a gamer.
