I’m a sucker for productivity apps and Appleinsider has piqued my interest. They report that Apple has reduced the price of 20 iOS productivity apps for a limited time. If you are not one to pay a lot for apps, this is your chance to discover some great ones. Here are ones I have and use often:
- MindNode (from $9.99 to $4.99)– I do a lot of mind mapping for planning or note-taking and this one is a steal in my opinion. I have the desktop version ($20) and have felt that it’s money well spent.
- Fantastical 2 for iPhone (from $9.99 to $4.99) – This is a great replacement for the Apple Calendar. I love the presentation of your tasks on a daily basis. You see the week view running at the top and as you touch the days, you get an agenda style list of tasks and appointments. Turn the phone to landscape and you see the calendar view for the week.
- Launch Center Pro (from $4.99 to $1.99) – This is one I’m going to cover in more detail shortly, but it is one I think you should definitely get if you have specific tasks you’re constantly doing on your phone. It is essentially a shortcut creator for tasks and actions. Launch Center Pro integrates with a number of your apps to help you put the actions together that you need. Create a quick contact phone list, set up an action for an immediate post to Twitter, or set an action to take a picture with Instagram without having to open Instagram directly. Pretty cool.
I’d definitely check out the apps and see if there are any that you feel would be good for you. What are some of your favorite iOS productivity apps?
