List Your Business in Apple’s Maps Directory

Maps, and maps, and more maps in this week’s Five for Wednesday.

  1. You can now add your small business — a real estate brokerage, perhaps? — to Apple maps. Gizmodo shows you how.
  2. Speaking of maps: there are cities with millions of residents that have not been digitally mapped. The Missing Map Project is using crowdsourcing to fix this.
  3. The last map-related resource, I promise: check out these 18 things you can do with Google Maps you might not know you can do.
  4. The UNI is a tablet case that uses the technology developed by Leap Motion to translate sign language into audible speech. (There’s an IndieGoGo campaign if you’re interested in supporting UNI’s development.)
  5. Just opened to the public: the Microsoft Garage, a sandbox / skunkworks from which you can download apps for Xbox, Android Wear, and more. CNET’s got the details.
