Lying to Keep Yourself Safe Online, Letting Amazon Into Your Home, and More in Five for Wednesday

  1. Security questions for online accounts stink, because they often ask questions to which lots of people know the answer. Until companies stop using them, do yourself a favor: lie like a rug.
  2. Smart lock company August and garage door automation company Garageio are working with Amazon on plans to leave packages inside your home or garage. Safer than leaving them on a doorstep, but we’re wondering how this will be met by the buying public.
  3. For those of you still working on PCs *and* Macs, it turns out Windows 10 and MacOS Sierra play really well together.
  4. The benefits to Amazon Prime membership keep mounting: subscribers can now get photos printed for as little as $.09.
  5. And speaking of Amazon, their Fire TV Stick now comes with a voice-controlled Alexa remote.
