phishing

  1. The newest phishing attempt hitting Gmail users is tricky and nasty and it’s really easy to get taken in by it. Learn how to protect yourself.
  2. Google’s Android app will remember the searches it couldn’t complete (when coverage is spotty) and execute them when you’re back in range of a solid connection. Pretty cool. HT @mashable.
  3. Also rolling out to Android users: Google Maps can tell you if you’ll be able to find a parking spot once you get where you’re going.
  4. We’re hoping augmented and virtual reality do better than 3D TV, because the latter is dead as a doornail.
